SO GREAT IS YOUR LOVE, LORD!

Little trials and tribulations now I welcome,
For these little trials prepare me for the big ones,
Life's pains and sufferings I must endure now,
For what is waiting for me above are heavenly rewards!

In Your love for me Lord, much, much more You have given.
My pains and sufferings in this world are my trials,
So to abandon my cross here on earth I must not,
For when I stumble, I'll be consoled with You, my God.

In my trials You will help and not abandon me,
For everywhere You are to be found,
I'll have You at my side at all times, in my trials,
And Jesus, my Savior will be my guide.

To communicate, to speak often with You, my Lord,
To pray well with my mind and heart I must keep on!
For in communicating my ties with You will not disappear,
And I will love You more and have Your love forever.

Poverty of Spirit ... reliance on You, my Lord is what I desire,
To fortify good virtues in my way of life,
You, my God, will help me if I so desire, no doubt!
Because, my God, You are so good with never-ending love!

This I must keep in mind ... that You are Love, my God,
And doing God's Will is also returning God's Love,
With honor, You are to be praised, adored, glorified and thanked,
Through Jesus, Your Only Son, crucified and thanked,
Through Jesus, Your Only Son, crucified..for Love!
